We established this college not for any pecuniary rewards or worldly honour but for the benefit of the nation in general and of the region in particular. The purpose built college and hospital is intended to serve mainly objectives, that is to provide health care facilities to the teeming million and to produce medical graduates with the spirit of devotion to duty, kindness, tolerance, patience and compassion ingrained in them.
Now then it is the teachers, students and all others involved in the affairs of the college and hospital to respond with missionary zeal and determination to achieve these objectives. This is the path if rightly followed will be attended with immeasurable success. In the pursuit of this noble and holy calling. I send my best wishes to the college.
